BUITEMS Shines in Industry 4.0 and IoT-Based Project Competition

A project competition in industry 4.0 and IoT-Based was held in BUET Khuzdar on 11 November, 2024. The event was organized by ORIC and co-funded by European Union, where different universities from Balochistan participated in the competition. A proud moment for BUITEMS and students from the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (FICT) secured 3rd position at the prestigious Industry 4.0 and IoT-Based Project Competition. Representing the Computer Engineering (CE) and Computer Science (CS) departments, the teams from the CE and CS Fall-21 batch (7th semester) showcased a groundbreaking project that stood out among entries from top institutions across the region.

Guided by the mentorship of Dr. Akbar Khan Nasar, the team—comprising Jawad Khan, Furqan Ahmed, Muhammad Irfan Baloch, Zohair Ahmed, Muhammad Nouman Ali, Sameer Azam, Noor Ahmed, Muneer Ahmed, Nawab Khan, and Sidique Khan—demonstrated exceptional technical skill and creativity. Their achievement not only highlighted the technical excellence cultivated at BUITEMS but also underscored the university’s commitment to fostering innovation in emerging fields like IoT and Industry 4.0.

The competition served as a platform to showcase the ingenuity and dedication of BUITEMS students, earning recognition for their forward-thinking solutions to real-world challenges. This accomplishment reflects BUITEMS’ position as a hub of technological advancement and its vision to inspire future innovators and leaders.
